Photographers...I need your help.

If there's any photographers out there who's reading my blog, I need you help. I am very interested in learning photography but I know very little about it. I plan to make it a hobby for now and then move on to doing sports photography, wedding, and portraits. I am looking in to buying DSLR but I don't know which one. Any suggestions? So far the Canon 40D and the Nikon D90 looks apealing to me but I could not decide between the two. I like the ruggedness of the body of the Canon. I do not have much money so I plan on keeping this below $1200 max of $1500. Any advice would be great. Thank so much.

I could not believe that the last time I posted something on this site was August 27th. Sorry I've been really busy with work and family. I am going to Vegas on December 5th and I could not wait to go. I will be hanging out with my buddies from college. It will be a blast.

Feeling Sick

I feel terrible today. I just feel so tired. My back hurt, my stomach hurt, I feel like vomiting, I have a head ache. I took the morning off to recover and sleep in but it didn't help. I hope I can get out of this funk soon.

New Golf Club...Improved Score

I bought a new golf iron set on ebay about a month ago and I finally was able to play last week and it made a big difference. I played 9 holes at the Purdue Ackerman Hills golf course and I scored 45 which is not a great score but a really good score for me. It's my best round ever.

The set I bought is "Taylor Made Burner Bubble Shaft - 2-PW".

Football Season Yey!

I am really excited since football season is coming up really soon. I love watching football and playing fantasy football. I think football is the best sport in the world. I am excited to follow college and nfl this year and I could not wait to start our fantasy draft.

It's 12:02am on a Saturday and I am still up. I've been trying to sleep now for 2 hours. I am exhausted...it's been a long day. I really need to sleep. I think I will take a couple of shots of Crown Royal then try sleeping again.

Allergy! Go Away!

I never had allergies my whole life until now. I can not believe that after 30 years of not having allergies that I will have to deal with this now. My eyes are so itchy right now and I been sneezing and runny nose. I hate it. I took Claritin yesterday morning and by 1pm it wore off. I was at the golf course most of the afternoon and I could not stop itching my eyes. I hope this goes away soon.

Long weekend means more time to do freelance work. This will be a perfect opportunity for me to get some freelance done. I really need to close some projects so I can get paid. I might squeeze in a round of golf since they are predicting beautiful weather all weekend.

The weather is so nice and I could not wait to get out of work to enjoy it. The family is driving up to Chicago tomorrow for a friends graduation party/going away party. She just accepted a job in Seattle and she will be moving next week. I wish her all the luck in the world and we'll definitely miss her here.

Midwest Earthquake

I woke up this morning around 5:35am when the whole house started shaking. I have lived here in the mid west for 14 years and never experience an earthquake. It was a 5.2 magnitude earthquake and it was enough to create some structural damage on buildings and houses. I have not check to see if there's any damage in our house but I will later when I get home.

Transmission Update

Well the reverse solenoid and front plate pressure of my transmission is broken. In short, I NEED NEW TRANSMISSION. It will be $1800 damage in our bank account. I should have the Denali back next week.

Damn transmission

My transmission broke yesterday and it would not let me go reverse. I am glad that I parked on the street right behind a co-worker. He had to move his car for me to get out of the spot. I drove the car to Redinbo Transmission and they just drove the car for one block and they told me that the "sun gear shell" broke. I did not know that someone could diagnose a transmission problem by just driving it for one block. He also told me that it would cost $1800. Anyway, I had someone else look at it for second opinion and I should know the problem and the damage today.

I hear a lot of people saying that they are making good money just by blogging. I am really interested in making extra income so here I am with my very first post. This blog will have a lot of graphic design tutorial topics and a lot of random stuff. I will be posting some tutorials and free stuff in the near future for anyone to use.
